- I'm interested in upgrading the hard drive in my GVP A530 and I'm wondering
- what the maximum date transfer rate of the A530 SCSI controller is. (In other
- words, I want to know if I upgrade to a drive that can do, say, 2 or 3MB/sec,
- will the controller be able to take advantage of the extra speed.)
-
- The Maxtor 7120SCS (120 MB) that I now have, reads about 988,000 bytes/sec
- measured with SysInfo. I'm wondering what performance other A530 owners
- get using other drives.

- Appreciate any feedback,
